How does the online reporting system work?
Students, staff and parents can access the online bully reporting form directly at www.sprigeo.com. We also provide schools with a direct link to the reporting form that may be used on the school web site. After a report is sent through Sprigeo your school administrator will receive an immediate email notification containing the report details. In addition to the email notification feature, school administrators can access the online dashboard and database. The online dashboard provides an easy- to-use interface for adding anecdotal notes, indentifying trends in report location, adding hard- copy reports, noting action taken toward resolution and creation of data reports for school board meetings and the state department of education.
How much does the Sprigeo system cost?
When purchased as a single school, 12-month subscription, the first year cost is $695 plus a one-time set up fee of $100, which we are waiving for schools that purchase Sprigeo before June of the current school year. Substantial discounts are available for multi-school, district and multi-year subscriptions.
Is there any software to install?
Continually updating computer software and hardware can be costly. We have created a completely web- based system that requires only a computer and an internet connection. School administrators can login with a secure username and password to check their account from any computer, either on or off campus. Students may access the online reporting form from any device with an internet connection.
Does the Sprigeo system qualify for federal funding?
Yes! Public school districts may use Title I, Title III and Title IV funding to subsidize the Sprigeo annual subscription fee. |

Will the Sprigeo system interface with our current data management program?
With the ability to export all files in Excel format or as a tab- delimited file, schools can quickly move reports into their current data management system. In addition to creating electronic files, Sprigeo also has the ability to print hard copies of all reports.
Can we give access to multiple users at a single school?
Yes! School administrators have the ability to add new users (Vice Principals, Deans, Teachers, Counselors, etc.) who can view report details, add anecdotal notes and note action taken toward resolution on all incidents.
Do students send in false reports or abuse the system?
Over 95% of reports sent through the Sprigeo system have been confirmed as authentic requests for help with a bullying incident or school safety threat. Unlike text messages or Facebook posts that can be shared among students, all Sprigeo reports are viewable only by school administrators, minimizing the impact one student has to falsely accuse or abuse another student. |
